I was born on April 2nd, the day of the Idealist. When I put together an 'album' and it's not part of my FIREPOWER mixtape series, each song should be a movement. We love bars and the competitive playground that street rap and battling is, and you will find some of that on this album, but you will also get a taste of the many corresponding worlds in which Hip Hop and America are dually entrenched. Few artists in their progression find the spiritual solace that can be manifested on record. Astral projection and metaphysics have long been in my wheelhouse and continue to help me in my focus and quest for the truth. "Let Go of Your Eyes" takes you into those higher realms and can assist you in your nightly adventures say you can wrap your head around these phenomenal concepts. I also invite you into the dance-mania that I have created in the form of hat tricks, or STYLEZ! "Flip da Hat" and "Swipe da Funk"are 2 of the signature Trap Jaw Ape singles produced by DC and with cuts by Statik Selektah that continue to bob heads in the Northeast, shout to Mr. Lif and Nabo Rawk!
